About Brian
I studied Graphic Design for three years in college, after which I moved directly into marketing work. I wanted to do something more arty and less corporate, and tried to start my own t-shirt company on the side, but lacked the skills, discipline, and free time required for it to really take off. Now, five years out of college, I’m in a new city, with better skills and discipline, and more free time than I care to think about. I’m applying myself more diligently than I ever have before, and I’m making sure that I get some art done everyday. I’ve expanded my dreams beyond just t-shirts, and now I customize skateboards, make stickers, and paint.
My goal is to eventually make a living doing this, and I’ve got a long way to go before that happens, but I know that if I keep pushing myself I can make it. I’m hoping that this blog will document that slow rise to riches (or at least slow rise to not-poverty), and I think the struggle should be pretty interesting to read about. Hopefully you agree.
Take care,
Brian
